Tamhini Trek

Tamhini Trek was conducted by us on the 29th of June, 2008 Sunday.
Everyone was to assemble at the pick-up points viz.:- N.C.C. Ground Gate,
Nul Stop, Dashabhuja Ganpati Temple and Karve Putala.
The bus arrived on time at 6:30 sharp at first pick-up point ie. N.C.C. Ground Gate.
After the last pick-up point ie. Karve Putala, 32 participants were recorded on the list.
Our route to tamhini village was like this :-
Pune (6:30 am) - Pirangut Town(7:30 am) - Mulshi Village(8:00 am) - Tamhini Village (8:45 am).
We had our tea in Mulshi Village. Having breakfast in Tamhini Vilage we started our trek.
It was raining like cats and dogs. Some of senior guys were taking the photographs.
The photos that were taken were best than ever...
At around 10:45 am we reached the Valley Point.
After halting there for about half an hour we started decending towards Tamhini Village.
In between our route passed three streams. Looking for a safer stream we all enjoyed its chilling water. We then returned to the village. We lunched there, changed our clothes and started our journey back home. Everybody tired slept. Reaching Pune at 7:30 pm,
we farewelled eachother and in this way our awesome trek ended.

It was founded by Mr. Prashant Tale, Mr. Shriram Bhalerao and Mr. Sashikant Aminbhavi.

About Us (The Dhavalgiri Family) :-

We are a group of mountain and nature lovers having 27 years of experience in conducting treks, camps in Sahyadris and Himalayas. Expert instructors having done the basic course in mountaineering take utmost care of safety and well being of participants.
There are two junior instructors and three volunteers under the able instructors to guide all the merry participants.
